JICA（Japan International Cooperation Agency） 沖縄の研修員の皆様が浦添市内観光地をご紹介致します！

「浦添市内観光地ツアー」に参加していただいたJICA沖縄研修員の外国人の方々から見た浦添市内の観光地のおすすめ度、おすすめポイント等をこのページでご紹介させていただきます！ツアー参加の様子はこちらの記事をご覧ください。

１．1ヶ所目にご紹介する観光地は「浦添市美術館」です。沖縄初の本格的な美術館施設として1990年に開館し、漆芸品を中心に絵画や焼物、染織、金工など2000件余りの美術品を収蔵しています。無料で貸し出してくれる音声ガイドのご利用もおすすめです。日本語も英語もあります。

浦添市美術館のおすすめ度：　9.0/10.0

浦添市美術館のおすすめポイント：

イソフ（Issoufou）さん：漆器展示エリア。漆を用いて作られた様々な作品が展示されている。

Lacquerware exhibition area : Different objects had been created using lacquer as raw/primary material.

アルベルト（Alberto）さん：手作業で作成された漆器のすばらしさ。歴史文化にかかわることはすべてが素晴らしい。Craft of handmade lacquered, what a masterpiece, I like anything related with culture history.

タオフィック（Taofic）さん：常設展示場：素晴らしい漆器。漆で作られた品々。東アジアに分布するウルシの木から漆の樹液を採取するという説明。Permanent exhibition: Attractive lacquerware.  Materials made with urushi.Explanation about how lacquer is collected from Goby tree specific to East Asia.

アブドゥラ（Abdallah）さん：美術館の中庭や入口の景観が素晴らしい。グラフィックデザインも完璧である。

リナさん：作品は非常に美しい。シンプルで学生にとってもよい。芸術を歴史遺産として残すことの重要性を学んだ。The view of the garden and the entrance to the museum was very beautiful and the graphics design were beautiful and perfect.

ハワ（Hawa）さん：美術館の美しさ。漆器展示物のすばらしさ。米軍人用に作られた漆器。１８～１９世紀に作られた大型お盆。Attractive building of the museum.  Attractive things built by lacquer materials.  Us military objects that are made using lacquer materials.  Ubung, the large decorative which was made since 18-19 century.

ドブレット（Dovlet）さん：漆器を見るよい機会　Chance to see nice artistic lacquered materials.

 

浦添市美術館をご友人やご家族にどのような言葉ですすめますか？：

アルベルト（Alberto）さん：写真を見せ、美術館の概要や、沖縄の人たちがいかにして文化遺産を守ってきたか、その素晴らしさを伝えたい。他の国も見習うべきである。I will send a photo to them with a brief explanation regarding Urasoe Art Museum and how Okinawan preserve their culture heritage is highly appreciated, and should be follow by another country.

リナさん：ソシアルメディアを使う。家族や友人に写真を見せる。私自身も古きよきものをアートとして残していきたい。金銭的余裕があれば彼らを美術館に連れてきたい。Using my social media.  Show the pictures to friends & family.  I also want to start keep all my nostalgia as kind of arts.  If I have extra money want to bring them here.

ハワ（Hawa）さん：美術館では、琉球王国の歴史や、王国が使用した様々な素晴らしい作品を楽しめることを家族や友人に伝えたい。I would like to explain the beauty of the museums to my family and friends so that they will come to enjoy and to learn the history of Japanese Ryukyu Kingdom and the things they used with different pattern and beauty.

２．2ヶ所目にご紹介する観光地は「カーミージー（Kamiji）」です。

カーミージー（Kamiji）は浦添市西海岸に位置する遠浅の海で、生き物観察やアーサ取りなどをやっている人を見かけます。
カーミージー（Kamiji）を訪れる際は潮の満ち引きなど、安全に気を付けて楽しんでください。付近に駐車場、トイレが整備されています。

カーミージー（Kamiji）のおすすめ度：　7.7/10.0

カーミージー（Kamiji）のおすすめポイント：

イソフ（Issoufou）さん：海辺の素晴らしい景色。波もあったが、フェンスがあるので安心して楽しめた。Good view with beautiful seaside.  Nice waves can be seen.  Walking can be taken with safely fences.

アルベルト（Alberto）さん：パルコシティから近い。景色を楽しんだ後、ランチや買い物を楽しめる。It is near to Parco City mall.  After enjoying the scenery, one could have a lunch and buy some souvenirs.

アブドゥラ（Abdallah）さん：素晴らしい場所。Very nice place.

リナさん：清潔で美しいビーチ。風は強かったがそれもよかった。障害者のためのインフラも整っている。Clean and beautiful beach.  Windy but was also good.  Good infra for disable people too.

ハワ（Hawa）さん：風は強かったがビーチは清潔で美しかった。道路への水の浸入を防ぐため、しっかり保護されていた。A good beach, clean, with high wind blowing.  It is well protected and constructed to avoid water from coming to the road and other areas.

ドブレット（Dovlet）さん：素晴らしい景色を楽しめる。サーフィンを楽しんでいる人もいた。Nice view, beautiful place.  We can enjoy nice view & can see islands far away, & also people enjoyed surfing.

 

カーミージー（Kamiji）をご友人やご家族にどのような言葉ですすめますか？：

イソフ（Issoufou）さん：写真を見せながら素敵な景色を説明する。Showing them the pictures while describing the beauty of the beach.

アルベルト（Alberto）さん：景色を楽しめる。だが、泳げるような場所がなかったのが気になる。I recommend is suitable for sight-seeing.  As far I am concerned, there is no spot for water activity such as swimming.

リナさん：SNSと写真で紹介する。Via social media & picture

ハワ（Hawa）さん：休日に訪れるには良い場所　It is a good place to visit during the holidays.

３．3ヶ所目にご紹介する観光地は「浦添城跡」。

初期琉球王国の歴史・ 文化を理解する上で重要なグスク（城）であるとして、国の史跡に指定されていますが、未調査の部分が多く、現在も発掘が進められています。 また浦添城跡前田高地（ハクソーリッジ）は沖縄戦最大の組織的な激戦地だったと言われる場所です。見学はうらおそい歴史ガイド友の会のガイド（有料、要予約）と一緒に周るのがおすすめです。英語ガイドもいます。

浦添城跡のおすすめ度：　9.7/10.0

浦添城跡のおすすめポイント：

イソフ（Issoufou）さん：日本軍の陣地があったということが興味深い。米軍の攻撃から身を守るための壕があった。日本軍は敵と戦うための戦略として高地を利用し陣地を設置した。The Japanese interesting army base.  The caves used by the Japanese army to hide and protect themselves against the US militaries.  The elevation used by the Japanese militaries as a strategy for fight the enemies.

アルベルト（Alberto）さん：浦添市は王陵など浦添城の原型を復元しようと一生懸命だ。当時の指導者がその場所をどのように統治し、運営していたかなど、興味深い歴史。The Urasoe city attempts very hard to rebuild the prototype of the original form of Urasoe Castle such as mausoleum.  The overall history is intriguing how the leader at that time govern and run the place.

タオフィック（Taofic）さん：ハクソーリッジに関する歴史の洞察に満ちた説明と、戦時中人々が避難した様々なガマ。発掘された６００年前の城壁や樹齢約３００年の木々などの素晴らしい景観。浦添市が一望できる素晴らしい眺め。Insightful history narration about Hacksaw Ridge coupled with view of various caves where people were to evacuate during the war.  Amazing view of stone wall of 600 yrs old and trees of more then 300 yrs old.  Nice view of the city.

アブドゥラ（Abdallah）さん：完璧で美しい　Perfect and beautiful.

リナさん：史跡であり、また安らぎの場所でもある。高知では素晴らしい景観が楽しめる。Even it is historical place it is also a picnic place.  At top can have beautiful sight.

ハワ（Hawa）さん：訪日外国人に日本の歴史を知ってもらう上で良い機会である。住民が避難した豪を見ることができる貴重な体験である。Is a good experience that make foreigners who came to Japan to know about the history of Japanese. It is a great experience you can see the caves where the residents were evacuated.

ドブレット（Dovlet）さん：戦時中人々が大変な思いをしたことを知るためにも行くべきである。歴史を学べ、また景観も楽しめる。自然も美しい。We should see to learn history & people’s suffering during the war.  Meaningful historic learning & enjoyed scenery as well.  The beautiful nature.

 

浦添城跡をご友人やご家族にどのような言葉ですすめますか？：

イソフ（Issoufou）さん：まずはスタッフからの詳しい説明を写真とともに伝えたい。そして「ハクソーリッジ」の映画を見るように勧めたい。さらに興味がわくだろう。Firstly, I will share with them the good explanations made by the staff while showing the photos taken during the tour.  Secondly, I will recommend them to watch the HACKSAW RIDGE movie.  These would give them interest of visiting this castle.

アルベルト（Alberto）さん：高地は写真を撮るのに最適の場所。慶良間諸島や普天間基地も見える。The highest spot very iconic to take picture to even Kerama Island can be seen from Urasoe Castle and Futenma Airbase.

タオフィック（Taofic）さん：行くように勧める。写真を見せる。Ask the visit the site.  Show the picture.

リナさん：浦添市がどのようにしてこの史跡を守ってきたかを伝えたい。I would like to show and tell how Urasoe City remain this historic site.

ハワ（Hawa）さん：日米両軍の歴史について学べた。他にも学べることが多くある。Is a good experience to come and learn about the history of Japanese and US military base. There are many things to explore.

ドブレット（Dovlet）さん：家族には、楽しみながらくつろげる場所だと伝えたい。To my family, I will tell to go & enjoy & take rest.

４．4ヶ所目にご紹介する観光地は「城紅型染工房（Gusuku Bingata Dyeing Studio）」です。

紅型とは、沖縄を代表する伝統的な染色技法の一つ。「紅」は色全般を指し、「型」は模様の事をいいます。浦添市前田にある紅型（びんがた）ギャラリー「城紅型染工房（Gusuku Bingata Dyeing Studio）」は、現代的な紅型から伝統柄まで、数多くの作品が並ぶショップ兼ギャラリーとしても人気。こちらでは作品を購入するだけではなく、紅型の制作体験ができます。お店の方によれば手際よく早く仕上げちゃう方、とっても丁寧に時間をかけて仕上げる方など、それぞれの性格が表れるそうです。

イソフ（Issoufou）さん：染色の工程、仕上げの工程（５日から７日間の乾燥）などの説明。The explanation of the steps of doing the painting & the rinsing after 5 to 7 days of keeping the masking.

アルベルト（Alberto）さん：紅型染めを学ぶのは楽しい。日々すべてが学びなので、新たな学びはありがたい。このように紅型文化遺産を守っている人々に大きな拍手を送りたい。I fond of how to create or learn Bingata painting method.  I like learn new things everyday, because everyday is a learning day.  Big applause for those who still preserve this Bingata culture heritage.

タオフィック（Taofic）さん：素晴らしい体験。指導のおかげで簡単にできる。Great experience in painting.  Easy to do the painting under guidance.

アブドゥラ（Abdallah）さん：非常に素晴らしい　Nice and perfect.

リナさん：素晴らしい染色体験。お土産として手ごろな値段の品物もあった。Best experience.  Some of price is affordable to buy for souvenir. 

ハワ（Hawa）さん：様々な紅型染めの型がある。紅型染めの経験は素晴らしい。Different paints picture are available and they are attractive.  Painting Bingata is a great experience.

ドブレット（Dovlet）さん：小学校で図工の授業を楽しんだことを思いだす。文化を学べる素晴らしいところ。

It reminds me of my childhood enjoying crafts at school.  Beautiful place to feel art culture.

 

城紅型染工房（Gusuku Bingata Dyeing Studio）をご友人やご家族にどのような言葉ですすめますか？：

リナさん：紅型商品を買いに行くことを勧める。マレーシアのバティック染めと似ていることを伝える。Recommend to buy some Bingata product.  Tell them it is similar like Malaysia Batik.

ハワ（Hawa）さん：染物を楽しむことができる場所だ。写真を見せる。Is a good place to come and enjoy the art of Bingata.  Show the picture.

５．最後にご紹介する観光地は、オシャレなお店が立ち並ぶ「港川ステイツサイドタウン（Minatogawa Statesside Town）」。徒歩20〜30分ほどの範囲に、かつては外国人向け住宅として利用されていたレトロなコンクリート造りの平屋が密集しています。エリアには60棟ほどの住宅が残っていて、うち半数以上が人気のカフェや雑貨屋さんとして軒をつらねています。

港川ステイツサイドタウンのおすすめ度：　8.3/10.0

港川ステイツサイドタウンのおすすめポイント：

イソフ（Issoufou）さん：様々なショップがあり興味深い。かつて住宅地であったところがこのような商業地域に変わった。通りがアメリカの州の名前になっていた。Interesting places with their different types of stores.  The innovation of transforming the residential houses into stores.  The streets been named as America’s states.

アルベルト（Alberto）さん：沖縄のお菓子を売る店が多かった。A lot of shops that sell Okinawan Snacks.

タオフィック（Taofic）さん：くつろいだりお土産を買ったりするのによい場所。Nice place to relax and buy souvenirs.

アブドゥラ（Abdallah）さん：素敵な場所　Beautiful place.

リナさん：友人や家族と楽しめる場所がある、素晴らしい街づくり。様々な商品やビンテージ物がある。Good the way of rebuild the town with place for gathering with friends / family.  Lot of products and vintage goods.

ハワ（Hawa）さん：様々な品揃えの店。小規模の街を作ったのはよい戦略である。Different shops with different items.  It is good strategy to have small cities like.

ドブレット（Dovlet）さん：沖縄の品物があり、良かった。Nice place, I could find some products from Okinawa that was nice.

 

港川ステイツサイドタウンをご友人やご家族にどのような言葉ですすめますか？：

アルベルトさん：特に沖縄のお菓子についてSNSで紹介し、ビデオを共有する。Yes, especially the Okinawa Snack.  I will post in social media and share the video regarding the snacks.

リナさん：購入したものを共有する。Share the product with them.

ハワ（Hawa）さん：質の良いものを手に入れることができる。Can get things with good quality.
